2 Wholesome Vegetable Recipes – easy, amusing concepts for vitamin dinners

1 tblsp bread crumbs
1 tblsp olive oil
1 egg
1 tsp skimmed milk
1 tsp chopped parsley
½ tsp salt
¼ teaspoon grated lemon rind
½ teaspoon blended herbs
¼ teaspoon pepper
Olive oil for baking

Boil the onions in salted water for 10 mins, then take away the skins and scoop out the centres, chop those very effective and upload to the opposite elements, together with the egg, and stir neatly.  Fill the onions with this mix, position them in a baking dish brushed frivolously with oil, duvet and bake 45 mins, or till onions are starting to brown. 

Serve with a a inexperienced vegetable similar to broccolli and vetetarian gravy or tomato sauce.

Baked Vegetable Marrow with Onions and Sage

A big marrow
A pinch of salt
2 onions chopped
1 tbls sage chopped (or 1 tsp dried sage)
½ tblsp olive oil
salt and pepper to style

Wash and lower the marrow in part lengthways.  Scrape out the seeds and fibres.  Rub the marrow over inside and outside with just a little salt and let it drain for an hour.  In the meantime prepare dinner the chopped onions within the oil, over a low warmth.  Combine the onions, sage and salt and pepper.  Replenish the halves of the marrows with the mix.  Shut them and tie along with just a little string.   frivolously oil a dish, and bake in a somewhat scorching oven for approximately 45 mins or till the marrow is cushy.  Serve with a brown sauce and a blended salad.
